A genealogy prize
On October 27, 2023, the “La France Généalogique – CEGF” association honored the winners of the Michel FLOUCAUD de LA PÉNARDILLE prize. I was honored to receive 2nd prize for my monograph “Une lignée de Geyer, modestes figures de l’histoire alsacienne de 1700 à 1965” (A line of Geyers, modest figures in Alsatian history from 1700 to 1965). This work retraces the lives of my paternal ancestors over 7 generations through the eventful history of Alsace.
